It feels weird to call myself a musician despite having played guitar since I was 6, written songs in Garageband since I was 8, and my favourite book as a toddler being a 200-page encyclopedia called the 'NEW ILLUSTRATED ROCK HANDBOOK', but I guess I fit the bill!
My love for music is at the core of who I am, and I'm always trying to find an excuse to incorporate it into work for myself and others.
For some reason I've never felt the desire to pursue it as my main career, which means I don't feel defined to any particular genre or style, and feel just as comfortable programming dubstep synth bass as I do covering an acoustic ballad.
I produce in Ableton Live and Logic Pro depending on the tools I need, and I'm
slowly building my home studio with a vocal recording set-up,
resonator guitar, acoustic electric bass, MIDI keyboard, and Novation Launchpad in my current arsenal(the plastic drums didn't make the move over to Melbourne)
