On a technical side, I've worked on set with Canons, Blackmagics, REDs (and as a former Camera House employee I've handled every other brand under the sun), but the Sony a7siii is my beloved camera of choice, with the a7sii remaining my trusty B Cam.

Outside of my time on YouTube, my first experiences behind the camera came from working for the youth film school I attended, shooting short films, web-series and showreel pieces for their acting students.
I don't know if you've ever had an hour to film an action scene with no script and 10 seven year olds who've just come off of a popcorn and cordial break, but the stress of being a DP on a set full of experienced professionals ain't too bad by comparison.
Whether it's run-and-gun or meticulously planned, solo or with a full camera department, I love the collaborative experience of blocking things out and finding the magic as you go.
I always find that the best results come when everyone feels involved and completely free to contribute any ideas of their own.
I haven't sought out that many professional opportunities to shoot stills over the
years, but it hasn't stopped me from constantly snapping my poor family and friends.
